There are so many artists of today out in the world that never get notice for their art work. I hope to bring some recognition to a few by trying to support them. And exhibit their works within my pages. I’ve never had the opportunity or resources to do this before, so here we go.
A View of the World Through Another’s Eyes!
I’ve had the Privilage and Honor of meeting some very interesting people through Life’s Journeys. One of those journeys in my school days occurred when my Father had been transferred into an Indian Reservation. We had Great moments in Life on the Assiniboine and Souis Fort Peck Reservation. I had the chance to experience a Fascinating People with so many Great talents that many parts of the world will never see. That is unfortunate for so many people. I hope to show some of those GOD given talents, so that we can see through another’s eyes, into their world and the wonderous ways they conceive it.
Sketches, Drawings, Prints and Paintings
There are many Forms of art work from pen and paper to pastels and watercolors. Some sound so very simple that you would think anyone could do them, but that is not so. It is indeed an Art to Master any form to express what someone wants to portray from within their Mind’s Eye. Each artist has his or her own favorite materials to work with. So some are prints, some will be originals, but all are Awesome to admire.
My Indigenous American Brothers and Sisters
I’ve lived in Montana most of my life. And I’ve had the Great Honor of meeting some of the people who’s ancestors have been in this land since who but GOD knows when. I’ve also had the Grand Priveledge to live among them for at least a decade. The Best part was getting to see the wonderful gifts that they are Blessed with, one such person I’ve met out side of the Reservation. His name is Herold Pedraza
My Assiniboine Brother
One very interesting meeting in recent Life has Blessed me in meeting an Assiniboine Indigenous Brother named “Herold Pedraza”. The interesting part of our by chance meeting happened a few hundred miles away from a reservation we both grew up in. We were brought together in a common work environment and started sharing in conversation. That’s when I discover that Herold is one of this areas Artists of Today. He draws some Awesome Art with Pen that is Fascinating to behold. I hope to try and give you just a taste of the Beauty and Realism of his art work.
